This notice explains how M&P Cleaning & Beauty and Waxing by Flory ("we", "us") use personal information when you ask for a cleaning quote, book a clean or a waxing appointment, contact us or use this website.
Who we are
M&P Cleaning & Beauty and Waxing by Flory are trading names of Florentina Panaite, a sole trader based in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. She is the controller of your information. Contact: florentinapanaite2@yahoo.com, 07915 572964.
What we collect
- What you send through the contact form: your name, phone number, email address, the service you want, your area, how often, and your message.
- What you send by phone, WhatsApp or email, such as your address for a clean, access or key arrangements, and the day and time that suit you.
- For waxing: your name, contact details and appointment times. If you tell us about allergies or skin conditions so we can wax you safely, we use that only for your appointment.
Why we use it, and the legal basis
- To reply to you, give you a price and carry out the clean or appointment: steps you asked for before a contract, and the contract itself (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- Health information you choose to tell us before waxing: your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
- To keep the records tax law requires, such as payments: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
- To keep this website secure and working: our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
We don't use your details for marketing and we don't sell them.
Who helps us
These providers handle information for us, only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and processes form submissions.
- Resend, which delivers the form to our email inbox.
- Afaceri Diaspora Ltd, which built and maintains this website and keeps a copy of form messages so none are lost.
- WhatsApp (Meta) and our email provider, when you contact us that way.
- Google, only if you choose to load the map.
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Payment records are kept for as long as tax law requires (usually six years). Access details and health information are deleted once they're no longer needed for your bookings.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it or ask us to restrict it. Email florentinapanaite2@yahoo.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This website uses no advertising and no visit statistics. The Google map loads only if you allow it; when it does, Google may set cookies and receive your IP address. See the cookie notice.
